About the Role

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President and Executive Director for University Health Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic management of health care processes that align with the institution's goals for student well-being. This includes overseeing multiple health service departments, such as primary care, psychiatry, specialty nursing, laboratory, pharmacy, and counseling. The role involves a strong focus on the academic and personal success of students, with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. The AVP/ED will also be tasked with providing consultation and expertise on health administration, managing substantial budgets, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, integrated health and wellness programs.Applicants must have a Master's degree or equivalent, at least a decade of experience in healthcare or higher education, and a proven track record in budget management. Experience with electronic health records, and a deep understanding of national university healthcare trends, HIPAA, and health care policy are essential. The role requires a leader who can think strategically, problem-solve, and communicate effectively, with a strong commitment to the values of the university health services. The ideal candidate will have a terminal degree in a relevant field, extensive experience in college health care, and a background that includes leadership in a large, diverse, and multi-disciplinary health care setting.
