About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Federal Accounts. The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader with over 15 years of bio/pharmaceutical experience, including at least 10 years in direct US Federal/payer account management. A strong background in government healthcare programs, managed markets, and expertise in drug pricing, reimbursement, access, and coverage issues is essential. The role involves leading the planning, development, and implementation of market access strategy for the company's products within the federal markets sector, including the Big Four federal agencies. This includes building long-term strategic relationships with key federal customers and ensuring optimal access and utilization of the product portfolio across federal systems of care.Candidates must have a proven track record in successful product launches, with a preference for oncology drug launch experience, and be well-versed in pharmaceutical manufacturer compliance requirements, patient confidentiality, product reimbursement, and access. The role requires a seasoned leader with in-depth knowledge of FSS, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, and private payer policies, as well as experience in developing processes for coordination with HUB, co-pay, and other patient service providers. Strong communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to work cross-functionally to improve business performance. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for a degree in health sciences or business/marketing, and an MBA or other advanced degree is a plus. The position may be located at the company's headquarters or work remotely within the US, with up to 50% travel required.
