About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director for University Advancement. This key leadership role is focused on providing strategic direction in the areas of development, alumni relations, and university relations. The successful candidate will work closely with the chancellor's cabinet and the university community to lead and evaluate fundraising efforts, donor relations, alumni affairs, marketing, communications, and public relations activities. Building and maintaining strong relationships with various stakeholders, including alumni, benefactors, students, faculty, staff, and the broader community, is essential for advancing the university's mission of research, teaching, and public service.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a proven track record in executive-level management, with experience in marketing, fundraising, public relations, strategic planning, and public speaking. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree, higher education experience, and professional certifications in fundraising, public relations, or related areas. The role requires leadership in financial accountability, contract administration, and supervision of both technical and non-technical staff. The Executive Director will be a member of the chancellor's core cabinet and is expected to embody the values of the university while driving its advancement initiatives.
