About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Health Care Economics to lead the financial aspects of the managed care model. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of activities, including reporting on capitation revenue, managing outside medical expenses, leading affordability initiatives, and directing the forecasting of non-claims accounts. This role requires a strong background in financial data analysis, with a focus on financial modeling and forecasting, and the ability to work closely with both clinical and non-clinical departments to advance business interests.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as accounting, finance, mathematics, or actuarial science, and at least 10 years' of experience in financial data analysis, including 3 years' in a managerial or lead role. Experience in healthcare or health insurance is essential, as is proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access. The ideal candidate will have a background in project management, be detail-oriented, and possess excellent analytical and quantitative skills. A Master's degree, actuarial certification, and knowledge of provider/facility contracting are preferred qualifications. The role also requires the ability to build relationships, negotiate with external and internal customers, and communicate effectively to drive positive financial and other outcomes.
