About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Donor Experience to join their Advancement division. This key leadership role involves strategically aligning stewardship, donor engagement, and donor recognition efforts with Advancement priorities to meet fundraising goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of all stewardship and donor relations programs, as well as leading a team to support various gift levels. A donor-centered approach is essential, ensuring consistent and exceptional donor experiences across the board. The Executive Director will also work closely with university and advancement leadership to deploy engagement strategies for top donors and provide education and training on donor relations and recognition.Applicants for the Executive Director of Donor Experience position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years' of experience in stewardship, donor relations, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years' in a supervisory capacity. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, project management experience, and proficiency in Excel and data management are required. A Master's degree and work experience in higher education are preferred. The role demands a candidate who can inspire and lead a team, as well as collaborate with key areas of the Advancement division. The Executive Director will be part of the Division of Advancement's Senior Leadership team, overseeing a central donor experience operation and leading custom donor experience plans for principal gift donors and campaign-related stewardship efforts.
