About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Family and Community Engagement (FACE) to lead the development and implementation of a districtwide strategy that promotes equity, cultural responsiveness, and empowers families and communities. The successful candidate will be a visionary and strategic leader with a Master's degree in a related field and a minimum of 8 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. The Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing multiple teams and initiatives, setting clear performance expectations, and championing equity and cultural responsiveness in all engagement efforts. Key responsibilities include collaborating with district and community stakeholders, continuous improvement of engagement processes, and ensuring that the needs of diverse communities are acknowledged and respected.Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a proven track record in leading large-scale programs and change management initiatives, as well as experience in leadership development and coaching. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to build collaborative relationships, and a deep understanding of educational policies and best practices related to equity and family and community engagement. The ideal candidate will be bilingual and have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with a commitment to the values of the organization. The Executive Director will also be expected to manage a budget, collect and analyze data on engagement initiatives, and report progress to various stakeholders, including the school board.
