About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Operations, Individual Giving to support the unit senior leader in the administration of duties and the execution of strategic priorities. This role involves serving as a thought partner and strategist, managing the senior leader's personal fundraising responsibilities, and overseeing the optimization of workflow and efficiency within the department. The successful candidate will be a liaison between the senior leader and staff, providing strategic and operational oversight for the individual giving administrative support to the team, and engaging in projects of strategic importance to the institution.A Bachelor's degree and at least eight years of related experience are required for this position. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree and seven to ten years of major gift experience, with a proven track record in designing and implementing effective strategies for individual giving. Strategic, operational, and motivational skills are essential, as is a deep appreciation for the mission and aspirations of the institution. The role demands superior communication, writing, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals. The Executive Director will also be expected to work collaboratively with colleagues and demonstrate honesty, integrity, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic.
