About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Principal Gifts to lead its philanthropic efforts and foster enduring relationships that result in advocacy and support for the institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the Office of Principal Gifts, which focuses on high-level giving. This role involves strategic program and team management, execution of a strategic plan to increase revenue from major donors, and close collaboration with university leadership, trustees, and volunteers. The Executive Director will also be instrumental in prospect cultivation, engagement, and stewardship, particularly in the solicitation of new and unaffiliated prospective donors. The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree, 10 years of professional experience, including significant success in soliciting seven and eight-figure gifts, and a proven ability to lead and manage fundraising programs.Applicants for the Executive Director of Principal Gifts at the company should be passionate about the impact of philanthropy on a research institution and be adept at translating institutional priorities into compelling philanthropic opportunities.
