About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director, a dynamic and experienced nonprofit leader with a passion for history and landscape design. The successful candidate will be tasked with building strong fundraising and sustainability practices, developing mission-based programming, and maintaining community outreach. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, a proven track record in fundraising, and the ability to manage staff and operations. The Executive Director will also work closely with the Board of Directors to advance the mission and will be responsible for financial management, including budget preparation and oversight of financial performance.Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a minimum of three years of management experience in a nonprofit organization, a background in fundraising, and a degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, creative, and entrepreneurial, with the ability to motivate teams and individuals.
