About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Medical Director for Hematology. The successful candidate will be a key leader in the organization, responsible for supporting the clinical and medical assets within the Hematology franchise. This role involves the successful development of early and late-phase clinical strategies, partnership with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring the execution of activities within expected scope, budget, and timelines. The Executive Medical Director will also play a pivotal role in the establishment and growth of clinical research functions, work closely with cross-functional teams, and be accountable for compliant business practices.Applicants must have an advanced degree (MD or equivalent) with subspecialty training in hematology/oncology, and at least 8 years' of experience in biotech, pharmaceuticals, or relevant academic settings. The role requires previous participation in a clinical development program, a strong background in clinical oncology, and an expert understanding of global clinical study design and the drug development process. Essential skills include high-level communication, GCP and ICH guidelines knowledge, and the ability to build and manage teams. The ideal candidate will have an executive presence, be a values-based collaborator, and demonstrate the ability to influence and achieve results through a collaborative and diverse approach.
