About the Role
The Company is seeking an EVP of Sales & Marketing to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the sales function to achieve revenue targets and strategic goals. This role involves developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy, identifying new sales streams and market opportunities, and securing strategic business development deals. The EVP will also be instrumental in shaping the sales strategy, managing performance, and fostering a culture of accountability and high performance within the sales department. Key responsibilities include optimizing the sales force, fostering collaboration, and ensuring a robust after-sales process for strong customer engagement.Applicants for this role should have a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred), a minimum of ten years' experience in the environmental service industry or a similar field, and a strong track record of success in a senior sales leadership role. The ideal candidate will have excellent business acumen, the ability to manage senior-level relationships, and a strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving. The EVP will lead a team of 90 people, including 6 direct reports, and will work closely with the executive committee to drive sales growth and expand market presence. The role requires a dedicated and analytical leader who is comfortable partnering with senior internal leaders and is adept at monitoring market trends and providing competitor analysis.
