Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Perform dental charting and documentation using electronic health record systems such as Dentrix
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain infection control protocols and ensure a clean and safe dental environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- Current certification in dental assisting (EFDA) a requirement
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Experience with dental x-rays and radiography techniques
- Familiarity with infection control protocols in a dental setting
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
