About the Role
The Company is seeking a Family Operations Director to join the Huber Family Board. This role is pivotal in collaborating with the Board to design and execute family governance objectives, supported by the Huber Family Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing programs and events that foster connection and education for the family and shareholders. This includes managing communication strategies, overseeing family governance events, and programming such as annual shareholder meetings, family education and engagement weekends, and regional gatherings. The role also involves supervising the family philanthropic initiatives and reimagining the family corporate ambassador program. Additionally, the Family Operations Director will be tasked with creating a comprehensive education curriculum for family members and supporting the HFB Co-Chairs in managing the HFB member mentorship program.Candidates for the Family Operations Director position should have a strong background in communications, engagement, education, and development. The role requires the ability to design and manage plans to achieve strategic engagement goals, oversee the development of a communication strategy, and manage the execution of family communications. Experience in orchestrating family governance events and programming is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing a team, as the role involves direct supervision of the full-time Communications Specialist and the Family Project Manager. A background in family governance, and philanthropic initiatives, and a proven track record in reimagining and revitalizing programs is highly desirable. The position demands a high level of professionalism, as the Family Operations Director will serve as a point of contact for the family and must be capable of representing the family and the company with integrity.
