**Responsibilities**

Responsible for assisting the Director in developing marketing plans and campaign schedules for assigned Association business areas to help advance market objectives and impact goals. Responsible for implementing marketing tactics and analyzing results of marketing plans. This role will report to Director, Brand Marketing, Development and collaborate with national, regional, and field cross-functional teams (Business Unit, Communications, Market Research, Science, Digital, Creative, and Social as examples) to engage the public in paid, owned and earned go-to-market activities that deliver against aligned metrics. Strong project management, collaboration, and communication abilities are essential to this role.

Responsibilities

In collaboration with the Director, assist with the research, and assist in identifying brand marketing strategies, tactics and timelines to increase participation and positioning around core events.

Work with market research team to conduct market analysis, baseline testing and assessment of opportunities that meet target needs and define target audience segments. Develop briefs for go-to-market plans to effectively target audiences, and address identified gaps and opportunities to advance goals.

Lead project management for the assigned marketing campaigns including planning implementation, execution, and measurement. Collaborates with internal and external teams and agencies / vendors to ensure content is delivered efficiently and effectively, while aligning to overall marketing strategies to inspire audiences to act. Facilitates projects with Design Studio and vendors.

Analyze and optimize campaigns in market, reporting on effectiveness, opportunities and lessons learned. Works with analysts and cross-functional teams to develop and deliver performance reports, insights and recommendations for actions and future considerations.

Partners across departments and business units to assist in building, tracking and optimizing multi-channel marketing campaigns (SEM, social, email, etc.)

Ensures all promotions, communications and marketing campaigns meet Association branding guidelines. Collaborates with assigned vendors to remain compliant with visual design requirements.

**Qualifications**

Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience (Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, and/or Public Health degree)

At least two (2) years of work experience in marketing, communications, or promotional campaign development

One year of project management experience, including managing multiple projects concurrently

Demonstrated experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns to address business needs.

Experience collaborating with multiple vendors / partners with critical timelines and multiple project requirements.

Ability to capture audiences with compelling narratives, possesses excellent presentation development skills and written/verbal communication skills.

Demonstrated analytical skills with ability to apply trend analysis, research, and other sources to turn data and information into actionable information.

Proficient digital literacy including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

Excellent interpersonal, written, presentation, and oral communications skills.

Experience and curiosity about understanding social determinants of health, equity, and a proven dedication to building equitable communities.

Ability to travel up to 20% locally and overnight stay

**Compensation & Benefits**

**Expected pay range will be** **$60,000 - $68,000** **.** This position is incentive eligible based on achieving certain targets. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.
