About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Construction to lead the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) team in the successful delivery of utility-scale renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the construction activities of a multi-gigawatt pipeline, developing and executing a 3-to-5-year strategy, and ensuring that project milestones are met on time and within budget. This pivotal role involves managing the owner's engineering efforts, fostering continuous improvement in project management practices, and establishing strong relationships with EPC contractors, manufacturers, and suppliers. The Head of Construction will also be tasked with recruiting, leading, and managing a team of project and site managers, with the opportunity to expand into a Director role within 1-2 years.Applicants for the Head of Construction position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction and project management of utility-scale projects. The role requires a proven ability to manage large-scale projects, recruit and lead high-performing teams, and operate effectively at all levels, including board-level management. The ideal candidate will be a strong problem solver, with the ability to engage, lead, motivate, and inspire teams to success. Proficiency in English is mandatory, and Spanish language skills are desired.
