About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance to spearhead financial operations and strategy at a high-growth Series A start-up. This pivotal role involves setting up and managing the full finance function, supporting fundraising and investor relations, and providing strategic financial guidance to the executive team and board of directors. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial activities, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration. Key responsibilities include defining frameworks for capital and resource allocation, managing FP&A, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading financial modeling for partnerships and enterprise accounts. The Head of Finance will also be a key leader in the company, driving financial growth, cost optimization, and profitability while staying abreast of industry trends.Candidates for the Head of Finance position should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (MBA preferred), and at least 5 years of experience in a senior financial role within a high-growth SAAS technology company. A strong background in financial management, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance is essential, as is startup fundraising experience. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of financial leadership, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. The role requires a self-starter with exceptional leadership and people management abilities, who can thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced early startup environment.
