About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Insurance with a strong background in commercial P&C insurance to lead its commercial insurance operations. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a technology-first approach, dedicated to revolutionizing traditional insurance through innovation. The Head of Insurance will be responsible for the Profit and Loss ownership of the insurance operations, developing long-term underwriting strategies using advanced data and analytics, and managing reinsurance strategy and relationships. Additionally, the role involves strategic leadership, career development, and oversight of product development, underwriting, claims, and other operational functions.Applicants must have a minimum of 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a proven track record of building and leading profitable underwriting organizations. A P&C license, including surplus lines, is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a history of successful insurance product development, and a reputation for mentoring and attracting top talent.
