About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Interconnection for Remote work. This strategic role involves managing the LGIA process for a diverse portfolio of renewable energy projects, developing and implementing interconnection strategies to optimize project value, and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful project interconnection. The successful candidate will be responsible for staying updated on transmission market trends and regulations in the United States and Canada and will provide technical expertise and guidance on interconnection-related matters. A strong background in Electrical Engineering with a focus on development, more than 15 years of experience in the energy sector, and at least 10 years specifically in Interconnection/Transmission are essential. The role requires a professional with a proven track record in managing interconnection processes for large-scale renewable energy projects, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.Applicants for the Head of Interconnection position at the company should have a background in the energy sector, preferably with an Independent Power Producer (IPP), and be familiar with transmission markets in the United States and Canada. The role demands a candidate with a robust skill set, including a strong background in Electrical Engineering, and a focus on development, to effectively carry out the responsibilities. Experience in the interconnection of large-scale renewable energy projects, and the ability to provide technical expertise and guidance in this area, are key requirements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the field, with more than 15 years of experience in the energy sector, and at least a decade dedicated to interconnection and transmission. Excellent communication and project management skills are also a must for this senior leadership position.
