About the Role

The Company is seeking an experienced General Counsel to spearhead and develop the legal function, with a focus on commercial activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for legal compliance, including ensuring adherence to healthcare laws, regulations, and industry standards. This role involves staying abreast of regulatory changes, managing legal risks, and implementing policies to safeguard the company. The General Counsel will also oversee contract management, data privacy, intellectual property, corporate governance, litigation, regulatory affairs, and provide strategic legal advice to support business objectives.Applicants for the General Counsel position at The Company should possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school, an active law license, and a minimum of 10 years' of legal experience, with at least 5 years' in a senior legal role within the healthcare or software industry. A strong background in contract negotiation, data privacy, cybersecurity, and a deep understanding of corporate governance and regulatory affairs are essential. The role requires excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to communicate and influence effectively at a senior leadership level. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of balancing business needs with legal compliance, and a commitment to the highest ethical and professional standards.
