About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of North American Distribution for a Private Credit GP. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy across North America, leading the effort to foster new investor relationships, and driving commitments from various investor types. This role requires the management of a regionally based sales team and the development of prospective investor targets, including pensions, endowments, insurance companies, RIAs, family offices, foundations, and more. The Head of Distribution will also be expected to leverage existing client relationships, advocate for the firm's market position, and independently lead presentations to prospective investors.Applicants must have an undergraduate degree, a minimum of 12 years' of experience in an IR/sales or client-facing role, and at least 8 years' of experience in developing relationships with institutional investors and raising capital for private funds, with a specific focus on selling PE/private credit funds. The role demands a candidate with an existing network of direct LP relationships, the ability to effectively communicate investment opportunities, and a proven track record in managing and mentoring a sales team. The position is pivotal in the company's expansion and requires a professional who can work independently, as well as with a senior team, to ensure timely and effective responses to investor inquiries and due diligence requests.
