Job Description:
As an HR Assistant you will play a crucial role in supporting our HR department's daily operations. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including administrative duties, employee records maintenance, and assistance with HR programs and initiatives. Experience with ADP Workforce Now is highly beneficial for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage new hire onboarding process
Assist with the recruitment, including posting job openings
Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date
Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries
Process drug screens, background checks and new hire paperwork
Coordinate employee training and development programs
Assist with payroll processing and timekeeping
Monitors employee eligibility for benefit plans and processes enrollments, cancellations, or changes
Provide administrative support to the HR Manager including filing, data entry, and preparing reports
Ensure compliance with all HR policies and procedures
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
Requirements:
Associates degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
3 years of previous HR experience
Knowledge of HRIS systems, ADP Workforce now experience helpful
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
