Information Technology Administrator
Responsibilities:
· Technical support of desktop computers, servers, network, applications and related technology used in operations
· Work with vendors to resolve technical problems as necessary
· Support financial and production applications for end users
· First level of support for determination and resolution on all problems.
· Record, track and document help desk issues and problem-solving steps
· Enforces company policies regarding security, privacy, and data loss prevention
· Orient staff on use of hardware, software, and security as needed
· Maintain network infrastructure
· Develop help sheets and knowledge base for future reference and end users
· Notify and escalate to management outstanding problems and subsequent resolution
Skills:
· High School Diploma, Bachelor’s degree or related work experience is required
· 2-4 years’ work experience in related field
· Certifications from accredited schools in computer systems
· Knowledge of basic computer hardware and applications software
· Microsoft Windows 10 and MS Office (Work, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
· Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
· Systems and components for servers, workstations and laptop computers
· Well organized and methodical
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work effectively alone and prioritize
· Must be a highly motivated, service and team-oriented individual with an attention to detail
· Show initiative and follow-up to insure successful results
· Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
· Demonstrated good internal customer service skills
· Continuous improvement mindset
