Role Overview:

The role of the Cigna Benefit Educator is pivotal to our business's success. As the face of Cigna, your primary objective is to conduct exceptional enrollment events that set Cigna apart from competitors. Your responsibilities will entail educating customers on Cigna's products, services, and programs through various formats, including but not limited to formal presentations, Q&A sessions, benefit fairs, and health fairs. Your goal is to ensure a highly satisfactory and positive experience for our customers through knowledge, competence, and professionalism.

Required Responsibilities:

• Possess and maintain an active Life and Health Insurance License.
• Experience in explaining and presenting employer-sponsored benefits and health insurance.
• Willingness to work on an "as-needed" basis, including occasional last-minute requests.
• Availability during peak seasons (August-December).
• Comfortable speaking to both large groups and individuals.
• Introduce and educate potential and existing customers about Cigna benefit programs successfully.
• Troubleshoot any enrollment or benefit-related inquiries or concerns.
• Willingness to travel within the geographic market to cover events.
• Reliable transportation is a must.
• Expected to charge expenses for travel (car rental, airfare, hotel, etc.) and will be reimbursed accordingly.
• Access to email, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and a cell phone.
• Must reside locally in the geographic area.

Skills:

• Knowledge of local market nuances (providers, networks, competitors) preferred.
• Bilingual capabilities are preferred.
• Strong presentation and PowerPoint skills (virtual or in-person).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of and compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Tech-savvy (familiarity with Webex, Zoom, Skype, and various other applications).

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Life and Health License required.

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
