Job Overiew:

As the Manager of International Franchise, you will manage the strategic and operational execution of international franchise operations for our retail brand. Your primary responsibilities will include partner management, retail sales reporting, market organization, pricing analysis, marketing coordination, visual merchandising, staffing, training, and real estate evaluation. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our international partners are equipped with the necessary resources and support to drive revenue, profitability, and brand excellence across all points of sale.

Key Responsibilities

Franchise Partner Management:

  • Deliver annual targets by executing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability across all POS.
  • Lead day-to-day communication with partners, ensuring timely dissemination of information and resources.
  • Identify and implement efficiencies to manage the business effectively (create / refine SOP).
  • Create trackers and presentations as requested by Head of International to report on business performance.
  • Ensure all contract clauses are respected, including those related to outlets, third-party brands, and local market caps.
  • Generate additional growth opportunities and monitor partner inventory to mitigate risks.
  • Ensure in-store execution aligns with the brand's guidelines.
  • Prepare budget and presentations for each fiscal year with clear growth or decline building blocks.
  • Monitor promotional calendars by partner and country, including key holiday dates.

Retail Sales Reports:

  • Compile retail sales data into easy-to-read formats weekly and share with cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze performance to gain insights into sales trends and customer behavior, optimizing retail sales performance.
  • Make data-driven decisions by understanding market dynamics and consumer preferences.
  • Track progress to identify areas for improvement and drive success in all retail locations.

Market Organization:

  • Propose agendas for market events and align with all members.
  • Ensure agendas are communicated to employees and partners in a timely manner.
  • Oversee the effective and seamless execution of tasks in preparation for market events.
  • Coordinate administrative details such as F&B arrangements, model selection, and booking social events.
  • Prepare presentations and discussion topics ad hoc for business reviews on-site.

Pricing Analysis:

  • Analyze competitive pricing and develop strategies that are attractive to customers and competitive in each market.
  • Optimize profit margins and implement pricing activities to drive customer acquisition and market share growth.
  • Conduct quarterly pricing checks in all key markets, benchmarking against direct-to-consumer (DTC) channels and competitors.

Marketing:

  • Ensure timely submission of marketing plans by partners at the beginning of each fiscal year, using the brand's templates.
  • Share and seek approval of marketing plans.
  • Monitor execution and ROI of approved marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure marketing spend meets Contract requirements.
  • Act as liaison between the marketing function and partners, sharing initiatives from the DTC channel and vice versa.
  • Ensure partners have access to all marketing and digital assets in a timely manner.

Visual Merchandising:

  • Act as liaison between the visual merchandising (VM) team and partners.
  • Ensure partners receive all VM materials promptly.
  • Identify and brief the VM team on localized needs to create captivating retail environments.
  • Ensure partners execute VM guidelines as directed
  • Organize virtual store checks and ensure excellence in VM execution across all doors.

Staffing:

  • Promote collaboration and teamwork to ensure smooth store operations and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Liaise between store operations function and partners, ensuring timely provision of materials and directives.
  • Ensure partners create a customer-centric culture with outstanding service and appropriate staffing levels.
  • Advocate for ongoing training and development to empower staff to deliver excellence.
  • Ensure partners have clear incentive programs and capture weekly tracker data by door in line with the promotional calendar and key dates.

Training:

  • Regularly and timely share training materials with partners.
  • Act as liaison with the training team and track training calendars by partner.
  • Ensure partners implement Train the Trainer programs and cultivate a leadership culture with growth opportunities.

Real Estate:

  • Analyze potential real estate locations to capture new retail opportunities in each market.
  • Ensure partners present comprehensive annual growth plans with clear retail sales targets and timings.
  • Evaluate new door opening, relocation, and remodel propositions to ensure they are brand-appropriate and deliver retail sales uplifts.
  • Track new doors, remodels, and relocations' performance against original proposals.
  • Maintain records of the brand’s international door matrix.

Required Qualifications:

  • Excel and Data Management: Exceptional proficiency in Excel and data management tools is essential.
  • Attention to Detail: Highly methodical and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
  • Structured and Organized: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
