About the Role

The Company is a leading real estate investment and development firm with a strong focus on residential multifamily properties. They are in search of a Managing Director, Asset Management to oversee and lead the asset management of their international multifamily portfolio. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing a team of Directors, Associates, and Analysts, and will be responsible for monitoring portfolio performance, maximizing asset value, and executing strategic initiatives. This role involves leading the RFP process for third-party property management, negotiating agreements, and serving as the primary owner representative. The Managing Director will also collaborate with various teams to establish and execute operational and capital improvement strategies, as well as lead the annual budgeting process and work closely with the acquisition team on due diligence for new property acquisitions.Applicants for the Managing Director, Asset Management position should have a strong background in multifamily asset management and/or property management, with a focus on institutional processes. A Bachelor's degree is required, and advanced degrees such as an MBA, JD, or MS are preferred. The role demands a candidate with comprehensive experience in the field, familiarity with the latest technologies and strategies for asset optimization, and a proven track record of success in the residential real estate sector. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader, capable of developing and managing a high-performing team, and will embody the values of integrity and teamwork that are central to the company's culture.
