About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Production Data. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the production data operations, ensuring the design, implementation, and oversight of a centralized data function that provides high-quality, reliable data to support a holistic and integrated view of client holdings. This role involves managing a global team, overseeing the daily production process, and serving as the escalation point for data issues. The candidate will also be tasked with ensuring compliance with data operation policies, managing onshore and offshore functions, implementing and maintaining data feeds, and collaborating with various groups within the firm on data projects.Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' experience in operations supporting various front-office functions, including trading, portfolio management, performance, investment reporting, and middle office. The role requires a strong background in interfacing with PM, Quant, Risk, and Performance teams, as well as experience in managing a global 24x7 operations team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, the ability to solve technical issues, and a focus on operational excellence. Responsibilities also include improving operational systems, processes, and policies, as well as leading and developing the team.The successful candidate for the Managing Director of Production Data position at the company will be a seasoned professional with a proven track record in the financial services industry.
