Job Title: Material Handler/ Warehouse Specialist

Location: 37 Apple Ridge Rd, Danbury, CT 06810

Duration: 3 months to start, possible extensions if needed.

Shift: Mon – Fri, 8-hour shift, 7 AM start time

PR: $20/Hr. on W2

Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for receiving and distribution of incoming goods, cycle counting of finished goods and or component inventory, and may kit production parts.
• The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.
• May perform work order kitting, KanBan replenishment, filling shortages and backorders for production.
• Unload trucks using forklift and pallet jack.
• Generates daily cycle count worksheets, back order and negative reports.
• Performs daily cycle count activities and reconcile variances.
• Receives materials from incoming to approved inventory. Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Conduct sale operation of all vehicles and handling equipment, maintain in a safe operative condition, and store in a secure area of the warehouse.
• May maintain in-house stock levels for production, ensuring uninterrupted flow of raw materials to production.
• Other job duties as assigned by the manager, supervisor, or group leader.

Qualifications

Education

• High school degree or equivalent

Experience

• 1 to 3 years related experience.

Background Experience:

• This is an entry level role, looking for anyone with packaging experience. If they worked at Amazon, UPS, etc they would be able to jump right in.
• Must have close attention to detail and common sense.
• Must have basic Computer skills.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
