Jackson, Mississippi based manufacturer of construction materials is seeking a qualified individual to assume the role of Project Manager. This position is in charge of all facilities and oversee the maintenance department including any new building construction the organization may undertake. This is a highly responsible position that answers to the COO. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:
✅ Contribute to various construction projects, utilizing your engineering expertise to ensure successful execution.
✅ Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including architects, project managers, and construction crews to achieve project objectives.
✅ Assist in the development and review of project plans, specifications, and designs to meet client requirements.
✅ Conduct on-site inspections and assessments to monitor progress, identify issues, and propose solutions as needed.
✅ Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards throughout all project phases.
✅ Utilize engineering software and tools to analyze data, create reports, and support decision-making processes.
✅ Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns, and maintain positive relationships.
✅ Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by sharing insights, implementing best practices, and participating in professional development opportunities.
