Confidential is Hiring a Quality Control Specialist Near Warwick, RI

Responsibilities :

* Maintain and implement a quality production program to ensure conformity of purchased material and final products to quality standards

* Meet with company personnel to discuss and resolve quality problems as required

*Receive and inspect incoming raw materials, completing receiving reports and labeling of materials.

*Preform inspection of products for first piece set-up, in-process, and final inspection

* Prepares all necessary reports as required by customer product and customer requirements

*Follow safety, manufacturing and QA procedures and requirements

*Schedule, perform, review and manage internal audits

*Understand the requirements of ISO 9001 accreditation and support the shop in adhering to these requirements through preparation of annual audits

* Maintain and calibrate all quality equipment

Desirable Skills:

*Capable of reading and interpreting prints and standards

*Excellent math, mechanical aptitude, analytical and problem solving skills

*Effectively communicate and write in English

*Computer skills - WORD, EXCEL

*Ability to use tools such as calipers, gages, micrometer, optical comparator, hardness tester etc.

*Ability to work independently without supervision - multi-task, follow instructions

* Able to communicate well with others

* Familiar with ISO 9001 audits

*CMM experience a plus

*High School Diploma or equivalent required

*Experience in "job shop" environment

Salary commensurate with experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
