Apex Systems is looking for a R&D Technician in the Marlborough, MA area!\n\n**For immediate consideration please send an updated copy of your resume to Tyniesha at tnottingham@apexsystems.com with “R&D Technician” in the subject line**\n\nTitle: R&D Technician\n\nLocation: Marlborough, MA\n\nContract: 6 month; contract to hire\n\nShift: 1st Shift\n\nPay Range: $20-$25/hr D.O.E\n\nOpenings: 1\n\nPerks: Weekly pay and Benefits!\n\nPosition Description:\n\n\n\tWork with departmental engineers to provide Packaging Engineering support for the project related to product package and label testing.\n\tAssists in generation of Packaging -related documentation including test data records, reports and the facilitation of change requests.\n\tConducts and coordinate Packaging testing in support of project to include unit builds, distribution, shelf-life, performance testing, and inspection.\n\tWorks closely with other members of the Packaging Engineering department and interact with project team members from a variety of areas within the company.\n\tWorks with suppliers to maximize quality, delivery, and lead times. \n\n\nMinimum Requirements:\n\n\n\tTwo-year technical degree preferred (AA, AS, or Certificate) preferred.\n\t1 to 3 years of experience in Packaging/ Product Testing.\n\tKnowledge related to medical device packaging materials such as thermoformed trays, paperboard, Tyvek, flexible films, corrugate preferred.\n\tExperience performing visual inspections on Packaging materials preferred.\n\t Familiarity with ASTM / ISTA package testing requirements preferred.\n\tFamiliarity with the medical device industry, FDA regulations, quality systems, and sterilization preferred.\n\tExperience with Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with product data management\n\tsoftware preferred.\n\n\nMUST HAVES:\n\n\n\tAbility to handle multiple tasks and effectively manage priorities\n\tAttentiveness to details\n\tExperience working in a team environment\n\tEffective oral and written communication skills.\n\n\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \nEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
