About the Role
The Company is in search of a Regional Vice President for the Southwest region. The successful candidate will be a dynamic and forward-thinking leader with a focus on driving strong and sustainable growth. Responsibilities include leading and developing a team to oversee the performance of the regional offices, developing strategies for profitability, growth, and business retention, and acting as a strategic partner to manage client and carrier relationships. The role also involves identifying growth opportunities, analyzing market trends, and revising business plans as necessary to ensure operational efficiency.Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years' of experience as a sales team leader with direct management experience, as well as 8 years of multiline underwriting and production experience, including excess and surplus, and prior experience in managing an office or region with profit and loss accountability. The role requires a demonstrated proficiency in sales and marketing, and a Bachelor's degree is essential. The ideal candidate will have a background in the insurance industry, with advanced degrees, executive leadership certifications, or insurance designations being preferred. The Regional Vice President will be expected to set and achieve performance standards, mentor a high-performing team, and continuously work to improve sales capabilities within the region.
