About the Role

The Company is seeking a Regional Vice President (RVP) for Retirement to join their dynamic team. The RVP will be responsible for creating and executing a sound business plan to increase sales, enhance the company's brand awareness and value proposition, and grow market share through new producer appointments. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing producers, as well as working closely with the internal wholesaler and sales effectiveness team to achieve sales goals. The successful candidate will be expected to understand the company's retirement products, marketing, and resources, and to adhere to the company's sales process to maximize territory sales. The position requires 75% field travel and demands high professional conduct to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.Candidates for the RVP position should be college graduates with a degree in a related field or equivalent experience, and have at least 5 years of prior wholesaling experience in the bank and/or wirehouse distribution channels. A FINRA 6 or 7, 63, and Life and Health license are required. The ideal candidate will have proven sales competence, presentation skills, and the ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment. Strong territory management experience, a history of producer contacts in the territory, and a demonstrated success in sales are essential. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are a must, as is the ability to balance multiple priorities and meet specific marketing and production objectives. The role demands a candidate who can build productive relationships, provide training, sales ideas, and mentoring, and who is willing to have or develop a strong understanding of key retirement products.
