About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Advisor, Federal Policy to lead the strategy and execution of federal public policy advocacy. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing a federal advocacy plan that aligns with the company's strategic objectives, particularly in the context of the ACA marketplaces. This role involves building and managing relationships with federal lawmakers, as well as leading efforts to educate and influence policy decisions. The Senior Advisor will also be tasked with building coalitions and partnerships to support various advocacy objectives and will work closely with the Government Affairs team to coordinate advocacy efforts at both the federal and state levels.Applicants for the Senior Advisor, Federal Policy position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a preference for candidates holding a Juris Doctorate. A minimum of 15 years of experience in leading public affairs functions, with at least 7 years of experience in Federal advocacy and 7 years of deep health policy experience, is required. The role demands a strategic thinker who can effectively navigate the political landscape, establish a Political Action Committee, and represent the company's interests with integrity and professionalism. The ideal candidate will be adept at building and managing a team of federal lobbyists and will play a key role in shaping the future of the ACA marketplaces.
