About the Role

The ideal applicant will have a Master's degree in education, public policy, or a related area, with at least five years of experience in developing, delivering, and evaluating professional learning supports for educators, and a minimum of three years in an administrative or executive team role, preferably with cabinet-level curriculum and instructional experience.Applicants for the Senior Advisor position should be experienced in systems change work and leading school and district transformations. The role requires a candidate who can demonstrate a commitment to socially just and inclusive education systems, build trusting relationships, and prioritize the well-being of students, families, educators, and communities. The Senior Advisor will also be responsible for providing regular updates to the governing board and representing the organization in relevant contexts. A valid California driver's license is mandatory, and the selected candidate will be subject to a Department of Justice background check and must provide proof of freedom from tuberculosis.
