About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to join their Mergers and Acquisitions legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of M&A and strategic investment transactions on a global scale, in close collaboration with corporate M&A and various functional teams. This role involves providing legal advice and support across all stages of the acquisition process, from NDA and due diligence to integration planning and closing. The Senior Corporate Counsel will also oversee post-closing matters, including integration, indemnification, and litigation, and will be expected to lead and manage strategic investment transactions as well as advise on portfolio company issues.Applicants must have a J.D. degree and be licensed to practice in California, with a minimum of 4 years' of experience in tech M&A at a reputable law firm. The role requires the ability to autonomously manage deals, a strong sense of judgment in handling risks, and the willingness to tackle problems with a drive for successful outcomes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact with senior management, are essential. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver, have a sense of humor, and demonstrate a high level of integrity and accountability. Responsibilities also include effectively managing outside counsel, and developing and enhancing transaction processes and templates.
