About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel to join its growing legal department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing commercial contracting support, with a focus on drafting and negotiating a variety of agreements, including those with customers, business partners, and vendors. This role requires a lawyer with a strong aptitude for commercial contracting, the ability to deliver efficient legal services, and a talent for managing multiple projects. The ideal candidate will possess a Law degree from an accredited law school, be barred with a state bar, and have 5-10 years' experience in commercial transactions, contract negotiation, and drafting. While experience in animal health is preferred, it is not required. The Senior Counsel will be expected to work closely with internal cross-functional teams and provide strategic counseling that balances legal advice with business considerations.Applicants for the Senior Counsel position at the company should have a background that includes strong communication and negotiating skills, business acumen, and the ability to contribute to strategic business discussions.
