We seek a strong B2B marketer to drive demand and deliver top-line revenue growth. This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing our marketing programs to drive lead generation for the Tax.com software division of our Business.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy : Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive marketing strategy, including full-full demand generation, customer acquisition, and retention to deliver on business objectives. Including paid digital advertising and media, search engine marketing (SEM), email, affiliate marketing, partnership marketing, or other direct marketing programs.
  • Customer insights and targeting : Accountable for understanding the target customer,
  • Target Audience and Value Proposition : Collaborate with product and sales teams to identify the target audience, customer journey, unique selling points and key differentiators. Build out a compelling value proposition and touchpoint strategy tailored to address specific needs and challenges of the target customer.
  • Project prioritization and roadmap : Define team priorities based on broader business goals and client needs. Assess the campaign-to-program level success of these strategies, ultimately providing a data-backed ROI on a forward 12-month project calendar.
  • Demand Generation: Strategize and implement ABM demand generation programs to generate high-quality leads that deliver on the SQL targets.
  • Content Marketing: Oversee the creation of engaging content that resonates with target audiences and develop content strategies to nurture leads through the sales funnel.
  • Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting : Forecast, measure, analyze, and report on the impact of the demand generation activities on sales pipeline and bookings. Leads Annual Operating Planning (AOP) for Marketing for Tax.com, including developing annual plans and budgets.
  • Continues improvement : Continually evaluate the pipeline to spend and the performance and cost of acquisition. Accountable for adjusting targeting, tactics, and creative strategy to optimize results.
  • Vendor Management : Manage external marketing agencies and vendors, ensuring they deliver on strategic goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field.
  • 10 year's experience in B2B marketing, ideally for technology or software company
  • Experience developing marketing strategy and executing and creating compelling marketing programs.
  • Strong project management skills for managing schedules and deadlines.
  • Excellent understanding of how to analyze and optimize conversion rates across the sales and marketing funnel.
  • Technology skills in marketing technology and automation systems, including Salesforce, Marketo, Domo, Salesloft, Demandbase
  • Demonstrated success delivering earned (SEO/SEM, website, email), paid (PPC, event sponsorships, social), and owned channels (web, webinar, podcast) demand generation programs.
  • Direct experience managing an SDR team or proven success in working closely with SDR teams.
  • Data acquisition and management knowledge to support lead nurturing and outbound programs.
  • Highly quantitative with a solid understanding of data.
  • A desire to work both at a strategic level and tactically on projects and campaigns.
  • Excellent decision-making skills in regard to allocating marketing spend.
  • Understand lead scoring and enterprise B2B sales revenue lifecycle, including MQLs, MQAs, and SQLs,
  • Self-motivated and results-driven.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid driver's license required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position will have direct reports.
Work Environment:
  • Standard indoor working environment.
  • Occasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 lbs.
  • Position requires regular interaction with employees at all levels of the Firm and interface with external vendors as necessary.
  • This position requires limited supervisory responsibilities, including training employees, assigning work, and checking work for accuracy and completeness.
Compensation:
  • For certain California based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $174,000 - $248,050
  • For other California based locations, the base salary hiring range for this position is $190,000 - $270,600
  • For Colorado based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $166,000 - $236,830
  • For New York based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $158,000 - $225,500
  • For Washington based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $174,000 - $248,050
