About the Role

The Company is in search of a Senior Managing Director for Development with a focus on the Florida region. The successful candidate will be a senior, experienced, and hands-on professional responsible for managing the company's development activities in the region. This includes sourcing and originating regional development transactions, managing the process from identification to close, and supervising the execution of projects. The role demands a high level of involvement in the multifamily deal flow, deep experience in multifamily development and new construction, and a proven track record of successful project execution with significant community impact.Applicants must be highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and adept at creating and sourcing new development opportunities. The role requires the ability to thrive in competitive environments, creatively solve problems, and follow procedures with a focused attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (MBA or Master's preferred), at least 10 years' of multifamily real estate development experience, and a strong skill set that includes negotiation, collaboration, and the ability to read and comprehend complex legal and financial documents. Management and supervisory skills are essential, as is the ability to mentor and coach both employees and peers. The position also demands the systematic use of organizational systems, a logical approach to problem-solving, and the ability to make sound, long-term investment decisions.
