About the Role

The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President of Compliance to take on a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive compliance program. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring the company's adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and will play a critical part in safeguarding the company's reputation and mitigating risks. This executive will be expected to proactively identify and address compliance risks, provide strategic direction to the management team, and interact with regulators on compliance issues. Strong leadership attributes are a primary requirement, as is the ability to foster a culture of ethical conduct and compliance within the organization.Applicants for the SVP of Compliance position at the company must have a minimum of 15 years of regulatory and compliance or related experience, with at least 10 years in a management role and 5 years in an executive capacity. Extensive experience in the e-commerce industry or a related field, including IPO and public company experience, is essential. The role also demands excellent knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, as well as the ability to communicate complex compliance issues clearly and effectively. The SVP of Compliance will be responsible for building and managing a team of compliance professionals, overseeing training programs, and leading internal investigations into potential compliance violations. A Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, or a related field is required, with an advanced degree highly desired.
