About the Role

The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President (SVP) to lead its newly established Middle Market E&S Property business. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in underwriting, with a specific focus on Middle Market Property, and will be tasked with managing a complex book of business to ensure profitability and growth. Key responsibilities for the SVP include underwriting in line with profitability and growth targets, managing the overall business portfolio, implementing underwriting guidelines, and actively engaging in the marketing and servicing of clients. This role demands a leader who is adept at new business development, and client relations and is recognized for their technical expertise, integrity, and strong work ethic.
The successful candidate will be expected to drive business results through their leadership skills, sales and marketing efforts, and fostering long-term client relationships. Collaboration with internal business partners is also essential. The SVP will be at the forefront of the Middle Market E&S Property business, and as such, must be prepared to take on a strategic and hands-on approach to ensure the success of the new venture.
