About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Quantitative Research to lead its growing custom research team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the quantitative research department, managing a team of 5 researchers and data scientists, and recommending and designing research studies. This role involves interfacing with clients to drive new business and effectively communicate insights. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of advanced statistical modeling, data mining for business insights, and the ability to design research proposals. They should also be adept at working cross-functionally with the qualitative arm of the organization and have a strong background in market research methodologies, including segmentation studies, brand positioning, creative testing, and pricing studies.Applicants for the Senior Vice President of Quantitative Research position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in market research, with a focus on supplier-side roles. The role requires hands-on statistical experience with various methodologies and a proficiency in statistical packages such as SPSS, R, or Python. The candidate must be able to translate complex statistical concepts into easily understandable data visualizations and have a solid grasp of market research processes and best practices. Strong leadership, multitasking, and communication skills are essential. A Master's or PhD in statistics, math, research methodologies, or psychology is desired, along with a background in market research within financial services, technology, healthcare, entertainment/media, or consumer packaged goods. Familiarity with advanced statistical methodologies and a history of innovation in market research approaches are also highly valued.
