About the Role

The Company is seeking an SVP - Recovery Operations Controls Testing Team Leader. This strategic and execution-oriented management position is accountable for the end-to-end testing of controls within the recovery operations department. The successful candidate will be responsible for operational controls performance assurance, including design, execution, results reporting, and insight sharing. The role involves leading and directing a team of approximately 6-7 controls testing professionals, with a focus on control testing planning and execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk and controls, with a minimum of 5 years in a direct management role, and be a subject matter expert in controls design, execution, and testing.Key responsibilities for the SVP - Recovery Operations Controls Testing Team Leader include supporting the controls testing utility, maintaining the resource forecast for the team, and representing control testing in various forums. The role requires excellent management and communication skills to interact with senior managers and influence decision-making. The candidate should be an independent thinker, capable of providing a credible challenge, and have advanced skills in MS Office. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree preferred, and the ability to work effectively on virtual teams is a plus. The position demands a high level of accountability for control testing results and a commitment to driving continuous improvements in the control testing process.
