About the Role

The Company is seeking an SVP, Retail RWA Oversight Lead to join their newly formed team within US Personal Banking Risk Management. The focus of this senior position is to provide support in the oversight of the Retail RWA, including governance, controls, and standards. The successful candidate will be a key player in the Capital Management Transformation effort, partnering with the USPB CRO and other stakeholders. Responsibilities include managing the timely completion of deliverables related to key Basel processes, reviewing and challenging RWA model output, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role also involves leading discussions with business units to identify factors affecting RWA and overseeing the creation of analytical packages for executive-level review.Candidates for this role at the company must possess an advanced degree in a quantitative discipline and have at least 8 years of work experience, with a minimum of 5 years in an analytical capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RWA/Basel processes, experience in model oversight, and a good understanding of consumer credit risk management. Technical and quantitative skills are essential, as is the ability to interact with senior executives and work effectively in a cross-functional environment. The role requires a detail-oriented individual with a high level of curiosity, strong writing skills, and a demonstrated ability to lead by example and foster positive working relationships.
