About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior AML Compliance Officer with a focus on Payment Intermediary and Digital Solutions. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of the global digital payments ecosystem, tasked with innovative thinking to address money laundering, terrorist financing, and sanctions risks. This role involves close collaboration with business teams to develop AML-risk mitigated solutions for Payment Intermediary customers. Key responsibilities include conducting enhanced due diligence on clients, performing transaction reviews to identify new risk typologies, and assessing portfolio and payment network risks. The role also encompasses the creation of presentations on emerging trends, escalation of issues, and providing support for ad-hoc projects related to emerging risk typologies.Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of relevant experience, with a strong background in financial crime and fraud risks within e-commerce, cross-border payments, and new payment methods. The role requires extensive knowledge of AML regulations, appropriate controls, and a proven ability to manage regulatory exams and relationships. Analytical skills, leadership, and the ability to work with regional and global partners are essential. While not mandatory, Spanish language skills are preferred. The position demands a candidate who can demonstrate deep expertise in the field, take a leadership role in influencing and leading across different cultures and senior levels, and is adept at managing a wide range of responsibilities in the AML compliance and risk management domain.
