About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP/SVP of Strategic Accounts and Business Development to play a pivotal role in advancing the adoption of clean energy for homes. The successful candidate will be responsible for refining and executing the strategic accounts sales strategy, with a focus on fostering and expanding direct business relationships at the VP and C-Suite level. This includes developing a strong culture within the team, identifying and acquiring the most valuable installer and partnership opportunities in the residential solar market, and ensuring the retention of key business partners. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in enterprise-level account management, experience in the solar industry, and a deep understanding of financial products related to clean energy.Key responsibilities for the VP/SVP of Strategic Accounts and Business Development at the company include leading a sales team, prospecting enterprise-level accounts, and negotiating contracts to grow the strategic accounts network. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in this capacity, with a background in custom problem-solving for large partners and aligning internal stakeholders to meet the needs of the business. Experience in B2B2C sales, CRM, and a strong sense of prioritization for customer satisfaction are essential. The role also involves overseeing market intelligence, optimizing sales operations processes, and participating in industry forums to ensure the company's market impact and effectiveness. A high level of integrity and a commitment to the mission of 100% clean energy homes are fundamental to this leadership position.
