Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Shipping Manager to oversee and manage our shipping operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the shipping process to ensure timely delivery of products to our customers while maintaining high standards of efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

● Manage all aspects of the shipping process, including scheduling, tracking, and coordinating shipments.

● Ensure accurate and timely preparation of shipping documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs forms.

● Coordinate with carriers and freight forwarders to negotiate rates and arrange transportation for outgoing shipments.

● Oversee the loading and unloading of trucks and containers to ensure proper handling of goods.

● Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to maintain adequate stock levels for outgoing shipments.

● Develop and implement shipping policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.

● Resolve any issues or delays in the shipping process and communicate with customers regarding shipment status and delivery updates.

● Manage and train shipping staff to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

● Must be at least 21 years of age

● Must be able to pass all background check and licensing requirements

● Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or 5

years of experience in a related field preferred.

● Proven experience in shipping and logistics management, with a strong understanding of

shipping procedures, regulations, and documentation requirements.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate

effectively with internal teams and external partners.

● Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

● Proficiency in shipping software and systems, including ERP systems, transportation

management systems (TMS), and warehouse management systems (WMS).

● Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

● Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
