About the Role

The Company is seeking a System Chief Nursing and Patient Care Services Officer to provide strategic executive-level leadership and oversight for all aspects of nursing practice and patient care services. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing the organization's nursing care delivery vision and strategy, ensuring professional practice and standards of nursing, and driving operational execution to achieve top decile performance in quality, patient safety, and experience. This role involves collaboration with the executive team to support a patient-centered culture, as well as leading initiatives for workforce optimization, staffing management, and fostering a best-in-class experience for both patients and staff. The Chief Nursing and Patient Care Services Officer will also be accountable for maintaining a Magnet culture and status, and for forging strategic academic affiliations and relationships.Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), with a Master's degree in nursing, business administration, or a related field. A Doctor of Nursing Practice or PhD in Nursing is preferred. The role requires a minimum of 8-10 years of progressive nursing leadership experience, including at least 3-5 years as a CNO, and a demonstrated track record of success in a Magnet culture. The ideal candidate will have expertise across the care continuum, experience with nursing workforce planning, and a proven ability to lead high-performing teams and drive strategic initiatives. Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio or the ability to obtain it is essential.
