About the Role

The Company is seeking a Tax Director with a focus on Partnership and Pass-Through entities. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing a range of tax activities, including the review and management of tax returns, extensions, and tax planning calculations, with a primary emphasis on partnership returns. This role requires a professional with a deep understanding of financial statements, accounting, and tax planning projections, as well as the ability to conduct complex tax research and effectively communicate with clients and tax authorities. The Tax Director will also be tasked with leading a department in the knowledge of relevant software, processes, and workflows, and must have a strong background in public accounting, particularly in the management of tax functions.Applicants for the Tax Director position at the company must have a CPA, LLM, or JD, and a minimum of 5 years of management experience in public accounting. The role demands a high level of expertise in partnership return experience and a proven track record in leading a team to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of client services. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing client relationships, monitoring deliverables, and will have the ability to respond to and resolve tax-related issues with both clients and tax authorities.
