Confidential is Hiring a Title Clerk Near South Burlington, VT

We are looking for an experienced Title Clerk to join our team! DMV and dealership experience is a plus!

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and keep files of all manufacturers certificates of origin and used titles / ship titles & mcos needed at the other dealerships
  • Keep record of payoff titles statuses with lending institutions
  • Process and submit Vermont registration/title applications and supporting documents
  • Prepare registration paperwork for out of state customers
  • Provide customer service for title/registration related inquiries
  • Maintain and update spreadsheets and logs for the purpose of tracking incoming and outgoing paperwork, titles/mcos, etc.
  • Provide proper and accurate deal documents to accounting for internal posting and bank payoffs.
  • Balance and reconcile the cash drawer.
  • Audit sales paperwork to ensure it meets the needs of state and federal regulations
  • Audit funding packets and submit to financial institutions
  • File & Scan documents
  • Assist with answering phones and greeting customers
  • Run errands (Bank/DMV/UPS)
  • Assist with other accounting duties

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of state-by-state title/registration laws, regulations, restrictions, and sales tax rates.
  • Organization and attention to detail
  • Knowledge and experience with Google Drive
  • Discretion when assisting HR with payroll checks/HR documents
  • Great problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task
