About the Role
The Company is seeking an Account Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be the Channel Executive for the Independent Channel, managing relationships with Independent Broker-Dealer partners in collaboration with IMO strategic partners. This role is pivotal in driving sales opportunities, acting as a trusted advisor, and maintaining solid relationships across all levels of the organization. The Account Manager will be responsible for IBD and product strategy, product launches, and changes, as well as effectively communicating product benefits to external partners. A strong business development mindset, entrepreneurial skills, and the ability to work autonomously are essential. The role requires significant travel and a commitment to customer service.Applicants for the Account Manager position at the company should have a college degree, with a preference for candidates with over 10 years' experience in business development and relationship management. A Series 7 and Life/Health license is mandatory, as is a background in working with annuity products. The role demands a high level of presentation, interpersonal, and relationship management skills, as well as the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The Account Manager will be expected to collaborate with the Strategic Partner Group Team, engage Sales and Marketing Teams, and drive partner growth in strategic areas. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and the candidate should be self-motivated, a strong team player, and willing to adapt as necessary.
